Dovecote
Dovecote is situated to one side of the historic white dove house in Halswell Park. Formally part of the gardener’s domain, this delightful cottage dwelling now provides comfortable accommodation for up to four guests. The double-height ground floor layout comprises a spacious sitting/dining area, compact but fully equipped kitchen, an en-suite bedroom and separate shower room (also housing a washing machine). A first floor open plan bed-deck is reached by means of a small staircase with views over the dovecote (currently undergoing restoration).
The child-friendly garden is totally enclosed and side access is from a small car park. Guests also have access to the parkland beyond the immediate cottage. Access is through a connecting gate from the lawn.
